The51 is a Calgary-founded venture firm and financial platform directing capital to women-led and gender-diverse-led companies, started in 2019 by 70 women around a kitchen table. It has since funded 38 companies and, with BMO anchoring its third fund, is working toward activating $2.5 billion in women-led capital by 2030.
